The Sunday Post #7

Posted by Jenea @ Jenea's Book Obsession in Sunday Post / 26 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

Today is my daughter’s 13th birthday. So, I’ll be later today once everything gets settled down here. πŸ™‚ I didn’t gt a whole lot of reading done this week, with all the running around this week. My laptop decided to have some major issues and luckily my wonderful husband took me shopping for a new computer. I decided to get an all in one desktop, that way the kids can use it for school too. I really like it so far. Being gone so much this week, I did stay off Amazon, so no spending on books this week, just some goodies from publishers. Our doxie, Bucky has been sick all week, so we’ve been so worried about him. He’s a rescue dog we got a couple of years ago, and we aren’t sure just how old he really is, the vet just estimated his age. He seems to be doing a little better that last couple of days at least.

We have had some cooler weather here for the past couple of days, and all the leaves are already changing. Everybody around here is starting to worry that we will have a bad winter. I guess that’s the joys of living in the Tennessee mountains. lol… How was everyone week? Anything new to talk about? πŸ™‚

Hard to believe we’re going to be going into fall soon. Wow. Hope your dog feels better this week and hopefully it’s nothing serious. And yay for new computer!

The November Girl looks like an interesting read.

I have an all in one desktop computer and I like it too! I hope winter doesn’t get her any sooner than normal and even at that it could hold off. πŸ™‚ Hope your dog gets better!

Have a great week and happy reading!

We also shopped for a new PC last week, but it ended up in a certain disaster (don’t even ask :D). It’s in the workshop now, suffice to say. I hope it will all be fine!
Congrats on not spending money on books! I also only bought one this week! But I got a few ARCs. I was eyeing The Immortalists on NetGalley a week or two ago, but decided against getting it. I wonder if you’ll like it πŸ™‚
I hope Bucky feels better soon!

Oh I hope your dog is okay. We have a rescue whose age is unknown as well so we are always nervous when he gets ill.
I can’t wait for winter! I love it. Last year our winter was so mild I felt cheated.
    Have a great week!

I recently got a desktop over a laptop, and I like it way more. Even though you can take laptops anywhere, however, it makes doing all my blogging stuff so much easier. Hope you and your family have a fun time celebrating your daughter’s bday. That is so fun.

We have a neighbour’s dog that barks most of the day and drives me mad so I’d love a bit of time and peace in a nice quiet wooded area where wildlife is the only noise! My computer is acting up a bit so it better not be going to give me problems again. I prefer desktops as when I travel I can leave the digital world behind for a while!

Happy birthday to your daughter! Officially a teenager. Uh-oh. LOL
Hooray for the new computer! My last two pc’s have been all-in-ones and I’ve loved them. And had good luck with them.
Hope you have a wonderful week, Jenea!

Happy birthday to your daughter! I hope she had an amazing time.

Yay for a new computer but it’s always horrific when the one you have plays up!!!

I hope Bucky is doing better! It’s always tough when our four legged family becomes sick.

Hope you’re having a good week this week!

Happy birthday to your daughter! She is officially a teenager now. I am sorry to hear that your computer died but yay for getting a new one πŸ™‚ I hate to hear that your dog has been sick. I hope that he feels better soon. I also picked up The Immortalists this week. Enjoy all of your new books!

I hope your daughter has a lovely birthday – 13, eh? So she is probably changing before your eyes… I know my granddaughter who will be 13 in a few month’s time is shooting up. And talking of time passing… we know have berries on our trees and bushes – when did that happen?? Have a great week:)
