The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

This week was a little bit quieter at our house. Not much running up and down the road at least. Finally was able to get my daughters curriculum all set up online for school. So this she started her first full week of online home school, and she did really good too. I’m amazed at how math I forgot how to do when I was wacthing her do her practice problems. Its a great program that we ate using for her and she likes it, so we are happy that we did it.

We’ve been glued to our T.V. watching the coverage Hurricane Irma. Both my husband and my families all live in Florida. Some evacuated and some did not. We’ve been worried about all of them one way or another. I’ll be calling family as soon as lines clear enough to get through and check in on everyone.

I got some pretty good reading done this week, and bout some books. My husband bought me two new books last night so I’ll put them on my next Sunday Post. πŸ™‚ So, that’s about it for me, how about you?

Nice haul this week, Jenea:) The Special Ones caught my eye. I’m watching Irma too. I live far enough west that all we may get is a breezy day or two. Got lucky. My thoughts and prayers are with you and for your family in Florida.

I think we are all glued to the tv right now watching the storm. My SIL lives in Jacksonville so we are keeping an eye on it. Fingers crossed everyone stays safe.

I am constantly checking the status of hurricane Irma. I hope your family will be okay! I know its stressful. I have friends in Tampa who are riding it out. So scary!
    Enjoy your books!

Oh man!! I’m praying for your family, too!!! It is nerve wrecking, right!!! My MIL was the one I was most worried about – her husband isn’t very good at taking care of her and they stayed put but they’re in Sebastian and they’re just inland from the 1 so I think they are okay. My parent’s best friends in Sarasota went to Orlando so I think they are okay, too.

Hey, did I know you did homeschool online??? YAY for doing it!! I’ve been doing it with my son for 4 years now! We do Connections Academy (I didn’t like K12’s curriculum the one year I did them). I hope your girls have an awesome school year!!!! BRAVO!!!

BTW – I keep meaning to ask you… do you want me to fix your twitter header? Email me if you do πŸ™‚

We have family pretty much all over Florida, but mainly in Brevard County. They are without power, but no major damage so far.

We tried to use K12 and they didn’t follow up after registration, and failed to tell me about the waiting list. So, we found a different one, and she really likes it and is doing well. πŸ™‚

Fix my Twitter header, yes please. πŸ™‚

Best wishes to your family members in Florida, hope they all come through the storm okay.

And online home school sounds great- it’s something I’ve thought about myself, to be honest.
