Sunday Post #22

Posted by Jenea @ Jenea's Book Obsession in Sunday Post / 40 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

I am happy to report that no buses got stuck due to snow this week, so it was a fairly quiet week on the home front. They made some changes to my husbands work schedule, he is the “nesting team” supervisor, so they need him to be able work the same days as his people do when they come off their initial training. It does make it easier for him at least, so a little less stress for him. My son only has 1 1/2 days of school and then break starts this week. Which is probably a good thing, because we are all massively sick! Oh yeah, I am officially done Christmas shopping now, so I don’t have to venture to any more store with all those horrible crowds. Whew…. The weather people say we might even have a white Christmas. It’s been a couple of years since we’ve had one. Yay!

Blog wise, it was a good one. One good thing about being sick, I can curl up in my bed and read. 🙂 I did get some new goodies and ordered a book from Amazon that will be here on Monday. Like I really needed more books for my overloaded bookshelf, but I couldn’t resist, it was a fantastic deal! But, I did spend a little too much time on Amazon as you can tell below. lol… Anyway, that’s about it for me. How was your week?

I totally feel you on the sick. My daughter and I aren’t feeling very good and I am trying so hard to not be officially sick but is it doesn’t get better in the next few days I will have to call it and go to the doctors. I just have so much to do. 🙂 I hope you all feel better soon!

You did go a little crazy with the books but totally worth it! 😉

Have a great day, Jenea! Happy Reading! 🙂

I am guilty of buying books that were good deals, but this upcoming year I will be trying to read all those “good deals”. Hope you are feeling better!

Hope the change in schedule is a good one for your husband. Ugh, sorry to hear everyone is sick. Blah. Hope that passes quickly. So jealous you are done with shopping! Wanna come do mine? 🙂 Nice book haul this week!

Glad it was a good week, although sorry to hear about the sickness! That’s no fun. I hear you on Amazon though- I also spend WAY too much time.

Come Out To Play looks like a good one.

Hope you have a great pre- holiday week this week!

That’s exciting about getting your Christmas shopping done! I’m still not done *looks around nervously* but hopefully I’ll be able to get the rest done tomorrow. I don’t think I’ll be having a white christmas in PA – they’re calling for temperatures in the 40s and 50s which is nutty after all the snow we’ve had in the last few weeks. And Christmas is the one time I’m okay with snow lol it’s such a bummer. The Long Deception looks good! Have a great week! 🙂
