The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

This has been a tough and sad week for our family. As some of you know, my husband and I and our children live up here in Tennessee while our families live in Florida. We’ve met an amazing family and their adult children and their kids, who we lived next to for several years, who became family to us. James has had several health problems over the last year and this week his body just couldn’t take anymore. He passed on Wednesday, just a few days after celebrating his 78th birthday. It is a great loss for their family and ours. And he will horrible missed.

I’ve been a little absent this week, but hopefully I will be back next week a little more.

Oh no, I’m sorry to hear that Jenea. Best wishes to his family, and yours as well.

Before I LEt You In and the Verdun Affair both look good.

Wishing you a good week, in spite of the sad news.

It’s so sad to lose such a good friend like that. We lost our neighbour last year and we’ve lived next door to him since these houses were built before I was born. I still find it strange not to see him in the garden, waving to me at the window. I’m so sorry for your loss *hugs*

I am so sad to hear the news. It is really hard to watch a family struggle with a loss like that, especially since you were friends with him, too.
