Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

We had a lazy week at our house. The weather has been wet and rainy, and no one really felt like doing very much. They sent my son home sick from school on Thursday. We were worried he might have the flu, he is still not feeling great, but not as bad now. But he did spend his 17th birthday yesterday in bed with a low grade fever. 😟 The weather people are calling for several inches of heavy rain, so we are under flood warming for the next couple of days. Mother nature. Hmph…

I did get some good reading done, and got a few new goodies. This week is a busy week blog wise. I started watching The 100 on Netflix and I’m totally addicted and almost through season 3 already. So, i think that is about it for me. How was your week?

I don’t know. I’ll take this rain over the snow other places are getting, and it’s in the 40s too, which is a bonus. Sorry your son had to spend his birthday in bed, but you can have a re-do when he’s feeling better.

I will take all the rain we get get over the snow for sure. πŸ˜„ We are going to celebrate our sons birthday next weekend when he feels better and can have friends come and have no worries about making other kids sick too. He’s feeling a little better, still in bed, but playing PlayStation.πŸ˜‰

Ugh flood warnings- hope you don’t get that! And sorry to hear about your son being sick on his birthday. πŸ™ Glad you had a good reading week though! And yay for The 100! Isn’t it great???

  3. Kristin @ Addicted to HEA

I so hope your son doesn’t get the flu… I talked to a lady who’s son had the type A and it comes with a high fever of around 103 so your boy might be okay. Still…. sucks about his birthday!!!! BOOOOO! I say do-over.

You guys have been getting rain? Even in the mountains? That’s great!! I hope this snow coming isn’t bad. We’ve been inundated all week since Monday… it happens, we’re on Lake Huron and it’s Michigan πŸ™‚ Hang in there and have a great week!!

That’s what we were afraid of too. He seems to be a little better. We’ll celebrate his birthday next weekend. So he can have some friends over too.

Yep, rain up here means lots of mud coming down the mountain which sucks. I hope your snow going isn’t bad! *fingers crossed* Stay warm!!

Hope your son feels better soon. There’s nothing worse than a bout of flu or a really bad viral infection. I’m having a good time with my reading but still buying too much!

Its been raining like crazy here as well. Everything is flooded and muddy. Ick. Sorry your son spent his birthday sick. That sucks!

Hm… I hope the flood warning stays just that – a warning, nothing more. And your son soon bounces back. In the meantime, have a better week, Jenea:)

Hi Jenea! Hope you’ve been well! I hope your son is feeling better – that’s no way to spend a birthday!

I enjoyed the 100 that I watched but I need to catch up again I think! I’m probably a couple of seasons behind already!

I hope your son is feeling better. It sucks when the kids get sick, even if they are the teenage ones.
I haven’t started watching The 100. I know everyone seems to love it. We are binge watching Tru Blood currently. I know it is sort of cheesy, but I did read some of the books. Oh well, just 5 more seasons to go.
I hope you are having a great week!
