The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

This was a busy week, snow days from school for my son, and getting my daughter ready for upcoming state testing. 8th grade testing is the writing assessment, and I think she is ready for it. We have more snow coming tonight, apparently a fairly heavy snowfall with this front coming down. We are used to getting snowed in, so as long as we don’t lose power, we have plenty to do. I might even have to play some Minecraft with the kids. My husband and I are almost done watching Hell on Wheels, a t.v. Show we fund on Netflix. It is really good too!

Blog wise, it was a good week. I ordered a box from PageHabit, and it came yesterday, it had all kinds of goodies in it. Reading was a little scare this week with all the running around we did, but I’ll have plenty of time with all that snow coming. Lol… How about you, anything new this week happen in your neck of the woods.

This PageHabit box was a sale box. I subscribe tho the emails from them, so when I got the email about the clearance sale of boxes I had to get this one. The only monthly subscription I have it Book of the Month. It’s a good book fix for me. 😉

We had a snow day too this week, there have been no shortage of them lately seems like. Hope you don’t get too much this weekend. That PageHabit box looks pretty nice!

Hope you have a great weekend Jenea! The Last Time I Lied looks like a good thriller. 🙂

Snow days sound fun and tough too with trying to keep everyone occupied. You’ve scored some wonderful titles, in particular Before and Again — been looking forward to that one!

Luckily my son has an xbox one, so he keeps himself kinda busy at least. But my daughter just does her home school work even if he is home for a snow day. She says no reason for me to get behind because Public school isn’t in. 😉 I am pretty excited for Befre and Again, it sounds great!

More snow? Ack! It’s supposed to be unseasonably warm here today (almost 80). At least being snowed in would equal plenty of reading time. 🙂 The Page Habit boxes always look good but I already get one box every month (Bookworm Box) and really don’t need another. I got the Barbara Delinsky ARC this week, too, and I’m looking forward to starting it. I haven’t read anything by her in years.

  4. Michelle @Because Reading

We are suppose to get hit pretty hard also. So over snow.

I love playing minecraft with the kids. They don’t play as much anymore but when we do I love it! 🙂

Have a great week, Jenea! Happy Reading!

  5. Samantha

I used to get the page habit box and enjoyed it (I just had to stop it because I’m broke!). Hopefully yall don’t get snowed in! It seems crazy to think about that much snow in March! But, its been cold here, so I guess its not that crazy to imagine! Enjoy your books and have a great week!

Hehe, so am I. I only was a belt o get this box because it was a clearance box from inventory. But it was a book I’ve been wanting, so I couldn’t pass it up. I’m ho[ing the heavy snow stays away, but we’ll see. 😉

I had a snow day this past week too. I love having the excuse to read/catch up on TV shows all day, but I hate having to shovel and deal with the snow once the storm is over lol I’m really hoping it was the last storm of the season. I downloaded The Family Tabor this week too. It looks interesting. Have a great week! 🙂

Oh dear – I’m so sorry to hear you have MORE snow ahead of you! This seems a really miserable turn of affairs in March – I hope it doesn’t last too much longer – if you are now into Saturday school to make up the time, clearly you have had more than your fair share. Have a great week, despite the white stuff, Jenea:).

  8. Cricket

Just thinking about all that snow makes me shiver. I don’t think I would ever leave the house. The weather here is keeps flipping from hot to cold and I just want it to settle into Spring. Hoepfully, the snow will go away soon. Have a great week!

  9. Lola

I hope you don’t lose power, but as long as that doesn’t happen you seem prepared for the snow. I haven’t played Minecraft in a while, but it’s a fun game for sure. I hope you’ll enjoy your new books and have a great week!

  10. Nicci @ Sunny Buzzy Books

Ugh, I’m so over snow! Thankfully, we managed to get back to normal with work and school on Tuesday and it’s all mostly gone now.
Hopefully, it won’t cause too much disruption for you.
    Have a good week!

  11. Grace @ Rebel Mommy Book Blog

Oh man I am over the snow. I think we get more tomorrow. I hope it isn’t too bad. Loks like you got some good books – enjoy! Have a great week!

  12. Rachel

Hope you get some nice reading time in by the fire with all the snow! My husband an I enjoyed Hell on Wheels, too. Although, I think I only watched bits and pieces of the last season. Happy reading! 🙂

  13. Laura Thomas

I did get one box and it was packed with so much great stuff I was afraid to order another. No way they could all be that good, right. LOL I hope the snow ends soon and you keep your power.

  14. Vi @Inkvotary

Looks like many of us are tired of all the snow *smile* The weather changed last night. Now it is so warm and it keeps raining like there´s no tomorrow. Have fun with all the new snow and I hope you will keep your power to do all the things you are planning to do.

    Best wishes

  15. Suzanne @ The Bookish Libra

I’m really hoping that we’re done with snow here. I’m so over it, lol. Good luck to your daughter on her writing assessment and I hope you enjoy all of your new books. They all sound wonderful!

  16. Daniela Ark

Yup that sounds like my week after the storm so that’s why I’m so behind visiting you! AND we have another storm coming tonight UGH God help me I NEED SPRING! I love that you play Minecraft with the kids. My son has been asking e to kill some Zs with with so I may have to oblige 🙂

  17. Jen Ryland

Ugh to the snow. I think it’s snowing here tomorrow and I’m hoping it’s not much because I am SO over it.
Hope you have a great week!

  18. Astrid

Argh, late snow sucks. But being snowed in? Bliss! Lots of stuff you usually don’t have enough time doing.

    Have a great week!

  19. Lover Of Romance

oh my, I am so sorry to hear about being snowed it….stay safe. We have had such a mild winter compared to where you are at darling.

But look at all those pretty books…Happy Reading.

  20. Vi @Inkvotary

I am so done with all the snow and freezing temperature. Since the weekend we have it very warm but new snow and cold temperatures are on their way – again. Why can´t it be Spring already? Hope you´ll have fun with the kids in case you get snowed in.

    Best wishes
    Vi @Inkvotary
