The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

This has been a strange week here. We go from warm weather at the beginning of the week to snow in the middle of week and then back to rain again Saturday. Come on Spring! Then, I finally gave in and went to the doctor and found out what has been wrong with my foot, I have a stress fracture and have to wear this awful shoe thing for 3 weeks and then have it xrayed again. No driving for me. Oh, and my son got his hand squished between the weights in the gym so we spent 5 hours in the ER to get it xrayed, but luckily nothing was broken, just badly bruised. Needless to say, I think we are really over this week. 😕

In between all of this I got a little bit of reading done, and that whole getting ahead of my review writing sure did payoff this week. I hope to visit everyone I missed over the last couple of days too. Can’t go nowhere, so I have plenty of time. Lol… My husband and I did start Jessica Jones and are liking it so far, but I did miss the premier of Shadowhunters, the ER doesn’t have t.v’s in the waiting room. Well, that was our fun filled week here at my house.

How was everybody’s week?

Oh my gosh, what a week. So sorry to hear about the stress fracture. The special show sounds like a pain. Hopefully the 3 weeks passes quickly. And thank goodness your son is okay!

Coome From Away sounds wonderful. I enjoy a good historical fiction. I just recently bought Tides of Honour by Graham and now I’m excited to read both.

The shoe is a pain for sure, it’s ugly, doesn’t match my Nikes either. Lol… My sons hand is just very sore and no lifting for 2 weeks. He’s not a happy camper, but as a Mom I’m scare of him lifting all those heavy weights anyway.

EEEK! That’s quite a week of medical maladies. I hope your foot heals quickly, and that someone is being your kind chauffeur.

Have a great week, Jenea! Happy Reading! 🙂
