The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

This was a fairly busy week with Dr. appts, but it seem to fly by so quickly. Didn’t get a bunch of reading done, so I’m glad I read as many as I did last week and I did started a new medicine Friday and it makes me so sleepy, but they said it would for the first few days. So, I’m having a hard time reading, I fall asleep. Ugh… I’m all caught up on Siren and really like it so far. My husband and I started a show called Luther on Netflix, it’s pretty addictive so far.

Our weather here has been nice all week, a little bit of rain, but at least we can go out and sit on the porch with the dogs and enjoy the cool weather still. Since I was in and out all week, I managed to stay away from Amazon, so I got just a few to books from the publishers. My TBR pile is already big enough. 😉 So, that’s it for me, how was your week?

Hope you’re feeling better and adjust quickly to your medicine. I’m a bit overwhelmed by the amount of shows that I want to start…and then I end up just watching reruns of, like, the First 48. Happy reading!

  2. Samantha

I have been binging Lock Up on netflix. Every time they add more episodes, I binge! Glad the weather is better and I hope you adjust to your medication quickly!

  3. Greg

Ooh Siren… I watched the first one and liked it but haven’t had time to keep going. And I really liked Luther! Alice is quite awesome. 🙂

    Three secrets looks good!!

I hope once you get over your sleepiness, the medicine will really help. I’m looking forward to seeing what you make of Obscura – it’s on my reading list and I haven’t got to it yet. Have a good week, Jenea:)

  5. Mary @StackingMyBookShelves!

Looks like rain is the theme of your covers this week. I totally love those covers. I hope the medicine gets in your system and stops making you so tired. I know some drugs do that tho. Have a great week and thanks for stopping over at my blog and saying those nice things.

    Have a great week.

I enjoyed the first book in Roni Loren’s new series, and am looking forward to reading the new one. The backstory is really interested, and I really liked the characters when I met them in the first book.

Oh I hope you’re able to fit in some reading soon, it can take sometime adjusting to new medication. And I’ve heard greta things about Luther, but just haven’t had the chance to start it yet! I hope you have a great week 🙂

Isn’t it nice that Spring is finally here? We are still getting temps in the high 30s here, but it’s getting up to low 50s during the day! YAY! Gotta celebrate the small victories in life.

Your new books look good. I’m curious about Three Secrets.

Love the sound of sitting out on the porch!

Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.

aww sorry the meds make you feel drowsy! Luther looks interesting, glad to see you are enjoying it. I’m trying to stay off amazon, but found a new addiction in Abebooks because yes, they are used, but cheaper D:
The Rain Watcher looks so good, now I need to investigate it more.

  11. Daniela Ark

I hope everything went ok with your Dr. appts! I’ve been too exhausted to read too so I’ve been doing mostly audiobooks! Hope you feel better and more energized soon! I like your books! Looking forward to the reviews!

  12. Dani @ Perspective of a Writer

The Rain Watcher sure sounds intriguing! ❤️ I’m sorry to hear you are so sleepy, its tough starting a new medication. Luther is super addicting, I loved it even though its rather violent at times. He is such a great actor! Hope you enjoy!

  13. Tanya @ Girl Plus Books

I haven’t heard anything about The Rain Watcher. I’ll have to check it out because I loved de Rosnay’s Sarah’s Key. The Ones Who Got Away and The One You Can’t Forget were both so good. (which reminds me I need to write reviews for both!) Hope you enjoy the new books, Jenea!
