Sunday Post #41 Books, books and more books…

Posted by Jenea @ Jenea's Book Obsession in Sunday Post / 27 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

I was hoping for a peaceful week this past week, but nope, not in the cards. I’ve spent to much time running errands that I have barely had a chance to read and pretty much do anything around my house too. At least I’ve gotten used to my new medicine, and ain’t falling asleep anymore while I do try and read. 🙂 I got a little one-click happy over on Amazon. Oops… And I did get a few new review books too. Now I just need more hours in the day. Lol..

Well, that it for me. How about you?

Ooh I just went over and bought Obscura partly on your review, it sounds so freaky and fun! Can’t wait to read it. Hope this week is more peaceful, and happy reading!

  2. Michelle@Because Reading

I am always hoping for a peaceful week lol. I hope you get one this week.
Glad your meds are working for you.
Need to check out some of your freebies! 🙂

Have a great week, Jenea! Happy Reading!

I’m glad that you are now getting used to the medication and not falling asleep so much. Loved your review of Obscura – thank you for it. As for getting click-happy – I think it’s an ongoing hazard. I’m avoiding Netgalley at present as I’ve ended up with more arcs than is comfortable through May. Have a great week, Jenea:)

  4. Mary @StackingMyBookShelves!

I love your books this week. The covers of some of them are amazing. I am going to check out some of these freebies! Sorry, I haven’t been around school and my aunt’s recovery from surgery has been keeping me busy. Things should get back to normal in a few weeks. Happy Reading!

    Mary my #Sunday Roundup #17!

I need to either get more hours in the day or quit my job so I have reading time! I’m jealous of the new JR Ward book! It sounds good! Hope you like it!
    Have a great week!

  6. Rachel

I’ve been so busy, too! Like you I wish there were more hours in the day. Hope your life becomes less hectic. 🙂

I hope we both love Consumed! And thanks for the freebie list! 🙂

  7. Kristen @ Metaphors and Moonlight

Well that’s good news you got used to your medicine and are not falling asleep while reading anymore! But if you figure out the secret to getting more hours in a day, please let me know because I could use them too 😛

  8. Sophia @ Bookwyrming Thoughts

Aww, hopefully your week will be peaceful this week, or more peaceful if it’s a little hectic, Jenea! (Can’t say the same for myself since I’ve been running around finals and final projects the past few weeks.) Glad you’ve adjusted to your new medicine and haven’t been falling asleep while reading – that can be a little painful sometimes if your device falls on your face (has happened too many times to count, oops).

  9. Lorna

Thanks for posting the freebies. I picked up A Secret One because I have book one in the series and this is a prequel to book 3 that’s not out yet. So a win for me. Enjoy all your new books and a quieter week!
