The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

It is already the first week in June! Summer vacation is well on it’s way. Everytime we make plans to go hiking or site seeing, it rains. What’s is the will release the dam and everything down hill will get some massive flooding. Ugh.. Anyhoo, it was a fairly busy week. I went to my cardiologist and am now having to go for a nuclear stress test, I really hate those things. But, I know it is the best way for them to see everything. All the waiting for DR’s appt gave me time to read. I managed to devour 5 books, so I am happy about that. All my reviews for the month of June are written and schedule. Now for July. 🙂

My husband and I have been watching The Leaning Tower on Hulu, it is really good. And I watched The !00 and it just gets better every week. My daughter is watching season 1 of Beyond, so that we can watch season on Hulu. I got just a few new goodies and I managed to stay away from Amazon too. Yay me! Well, there isn’t much else going on here. So how about you? How was your week:

Yeah June already? Yeesh. Where’s the year goin? The 100 is so awesome right now, and I haven’t heard of the Leaning Tower- I’ll have to check it out!

Good luck with your tests, and have a super week!

  2. Wattle

I am totally intrigued by Storm of the Gods so went and added that to my Goodreads TBR list oops. I’m here for anything Greek mythology related haha

I can’t believe it’s June already, this year has gone by so fast! It’ll be Christmas before we know it, eep!

Good luck with your tests, I hope they go well 🙂

  3. Angela

Our hiking time has really been cut short by rain, too! Hopefully it will improve soon. Have a great week!

  4. Nick

Lucky that you are on summer vacation already! I still have one more week to go! Good luck with all the medical stuff.
    Take care and happy reading!

How to Keep A Secret looks good! Yay for summer vacation, boo for rainy days. Hopefully, as we move more into June you get to take some of the day trips. Five books read is great. I am working on July too and finishing my last audio for June.

  6. Laurel-Rain Snow

I noticed The Leaning Tower in my Hulu queue, when I went there to see The Handmaid’s Tale. I must check it out!

Hope you enjoy Lying in Wait.

Waiting rooms can be great for catching up on reading.

Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.

Hope all the testing goes good. Sounds like no fun.
I plan to binge with 100 this summer. I keep hearing such good things about it.
It has been raining a lot here too but I am hoping this isn’t what the summer is going to be like. The weather is so weird.

I hope you have a great week, Jenea! Happy Reading!

  8. Suzanne @ The Bookish Libra

I hope all of your heart tests come back okay. It has been raining like crazy here too. It’s starting to get a little depressing. Here’s hoping the next week will bring us both some sunshine!

  9. Samantha

I hope your stress test goes okay! I never do well with medical procedures of any kind. I’m kind of a wimp about it all.
    Enjoy your new books!

  10. Yvonne

I can’t believe it’s June already. I do enjoy this time of year. I hope all your tests go well. Good luck. Have a great week!

  11. Literary Feline

Sounds like you’ve been busy. I hope your tests turn out well for you! Storm of the Gods caught my attention. I hope that turns out to be good. I wish I could say the same about staying away from Amazon–at least most of the money I spent was on gift cards? I guess that is something. Not that I need more books . . . I have so many already I need to read.

I hope you have a great week, Jenea!

  12. Sara @ Forever 17 Books

We still have a few weeks left of school before summer vacation but I totally get the frustration with the weather! I hope you get some more sun and Good luck with your testing.

  13. Ronyell (a.k.a Rabbitearsblog)

I never seen the Leaning Tower. Sounds like a great show! I’m afraid I’m about to go back and shop on Amazon again. There’s just too many good books to resist! Oh well, at least I’ll be getting more good books again! 😀

  14. Katherine @ I Wish I Lived in a Library

It’s been raining here for what feels like weeks but this week is supposed to be pretty so I’m going to have to come up with some outside things to do. The stress test doesn’t sound like fun but at least you got some reading in. Have a great week!

  15. Sam@WLABB

Good luck with the doctor’s appointment. I hope everything comes back in good order. I like Beyond. It’s got a really great premise. You got the new Christina Lauren! I am so jealous. I hope it’s amazing.
