The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

The second week of June has come and gone, and boy am I happy to have it over with. Our daughter scared with heart palpitations. The Dr. ordered a echocardiogram and she had to wear a heart monitor. We should know what is going on sometime this week when the pediatric heart doctor reads all the tests. At least her blood work came back clear. Her summer isn’t starting off to great. Our son however, is quite the busy bee combing and going to his friends. In other news, the weather has been nice, a little too warm for my taste but it was nice to have clear skies this week with all the running up and down the road to appt. I got a lot of reading done and scheduling too. Yay me.

I finished The Rain on Netflix and I read that there will be a season two. 🙂 The 100 gets better each week too. But I am sad that Shadowhunters has been cancelled, just when it was getting really good too. UGH..

Blog wise it was a good one, and I stayed away from Amazon for two weeks now. I did get a couple new goodies and I pretty exited to read them soon. My husband is starting a gaming clan for Xbox One, so this week I am going to help him get it all set, so I’m glad I am a littl ahead on my blog.

I think that is about it for me. What happened this week for you?

Hope all turns out okay with your daughter, and that it’s nothing serious. Sounds like they are checking it out thoroughly though, so that’s good.

I liked The Rain, and am looking forward to S2. And The 100 has been fabulous lately!

  2. Angela

Oh, no! I hope everything comes out good with your daughter’s test results!

Kudos on blogging ahead! I like to be pretty far ahead so if something happens or we just get busy, I’m okay for awhile. I did a lot last weekend, but wish I was a little farther ahead, especially with reviews.

  3. Sam@WLABB

Poor mom! You must be really stress out about your daughter. I hope everything comes back ok. This used to be a really, really sad time of year for me, when I watched more TV. I have cut back, because of trust issues. I was still sad that Shadowhunters was canceled, but I am glad they are getting a special to tie up loose ends. There are so many shows I wish had the same opportunity. I was liking Life Sentence on The CW, and I just found out that was axed as well. I try not to get too attached these days.

It’s definiy been a week of worry at out house. She’s our youngest, 13yrs old. She did well with the heart monitor. But those tests need to come back soon.

I’ve gotten to whre I try not to get to into shows, because it seems the good ones, (the ones I like) get cancelled. So frustrating. I’m glad that there will some finality to Shadowhunters at least and we’re not left hanging.

  4. Mary Kirkland

Shadowhunters was cancelled? Omg that’s awful news. I was looking forward to seeing what would happen now.

I hope the test result come back alright for your daughter.

  5. Michelle @Because Reading

I hope everything works out with your daughter! That is scary.
I really need to start the 100 because I keep hearing such great things about it.
I am so annoyed with all the shows they cancelled this year. It’s like they don’t even bother trying anymore. I wish they would allow the shows to film a season ender episode or two just so we get a little closure.

I hope you have a great week, Jenea! Happy Reading!

  6. Tracy @ Cornerfolds

I hope your daughter is okay! I’m glad her blood work came back normal, at least. Good job staying off Amazon! XD The Hangman’s Secret looks really interesting. Enjoy your new reads!

  7. Evelina @ AvalinahsBooks

I hope your daughter’s fine! Let’s hope it’s nothing serious. Maybe just some anxiety?
For me it was quite a tough week blog-wise, everything it just broken! But there were good things too 🙂
I hope next week is good at your daughter’s results come back with positive results.

  8. Deb Nance at Readerbuzz

I have oodles of money in my Amazon account right now because of retirement gifts, so I need to get busy spending. LOL.

I’m sending prayers for your daughter’s good health.

  9. Laurel-Rain Snow

Hoping for good results for your daughter.

I have The Rain in my queue, but haven’t watched it yet. I just finished Season II of Marcella, so I’m ready for something new.

I love the cover of The Arrangement, and I’m curious about The Promise.

Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.

I hope all is well with your daughter – it sounds as though they are being really thorough, which is a comfort… I’m glad your son is bombing about the place and visiting his friends. In the meantime, I hope that you, too, get a chance to relax a bit in the middle of all this. Take carex

  11. Lola

Sorry to hear you got a scare with your daughter. I hope everything turns out well with her! The weather has been a bit too warm for my taste here as well, but it’s nice to have some sunny days as well. That’s too bad one of the shows you’re following has been cancelled. I hope you’ll have a great week!

  12. Yvonne

I hope all goes well for your daughter and the doctor appointments/ tests. Good luck with all of it.

Enjoy your books, they look good. Have a great week!

  13. Stephanie @ Bookfever

I’m sad Shadowhunters got canceled too. But at least we still have the other half of the season to see next year. Something to look forward to and they should be able to give it a good ending since they know.

  14. Literary Feline

I am so sorry for your daughter’s health troubles. I hope you all find out what is wrong soon–and it’s an easy fix. I am thinking of you. YouI need to check out The Rain. I never did get to see Shadowhunters. that’s too bad it was cancelled. 🙁 Your new books sound good! I am tempted by all of them, but need to stay away from NetGalley. I’ve been so bad lately.

    Have a wonderful week!

  15. Tressa @ Wishful Endings

It sounds like your week was rather chaotic. That would really scare me. I hope the doctors figure it out! I hope you continue to get some enjoyable reading in too. Thanks for stopping by!

  16. Carole @ Carole's Random Life in Books

Scary about your daughter. I hope that the doctor figure out that it isn’t anything serious. My daughter is running around all the time like your son. These kids wear me out! I hope you have a great week and enjoy all of your new books.

  17. Anne Clarence

I truly hope your daughter would be alright, everyone deserves their child to be happy and healthy.

And the fact that shadowhunters got canceled (dont’ hate me haha), I’m actually not that surprised. The effects were not that good in my opinion, the wigs were pretty much atrocious, and…it was okay overall (just okay).

But it’s okay there would always be more!

    Have a great week!

  18. Tanya @ Girl Plus Books

Oh goodness, what a scare with your daughter. I hope the results come back quickly and show there’s no cause for concern. {{hugs}} No Amazon for 2 weeks? Are you superhuman? 🙂 Hope your week is off to a great start, Jenea.

  19. Nicci @ Sunny Buzzy Books

I hope all works out well with your daughter! It’s so scary when something happens with them, much more so than if it was yourself!

I’m trying to catch up on The 100. I’m on S3 and I’m loving it!
