The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

This was a fairly uneventful week. We didnt get the results back from the tests she had ran, but hopefully her primary doctor will have them tomorrow for her appointment. *fingers crossed* Our car however is giving us trouble! The warranty in our car ran out and soon as if does something happens. Ugh. I started watching show named Reqium on Netflix, it kinda strange but still pretty good. Other than that, thats about it.

Blogwise, it was a pretty good week! I got some pretty good reading done. And i ventured over on Amazon and picked up a couple of new ones. My kindle was starving for new books. ☺ Well, thats my week, how about you.

Oh no, I hope the car issue isn’t too serious 🙁 It always seems to be the way doesn’t it, warranty ends and things break. Lame.

I hope you enjoy your new reads 🙂 have a great week ahead!

  2. Greg

Yay for new books! And I watched Requiem a few weeks ago (another blogger and I co- watched it) and we liked it. It is a little strange and spooky but I thought it was good. 🙂

    Have a super week Jenea!

  3. Lexxie @ (un)Conventional Bookviews

It’s as if some things were made to break just after the warranty is up, right? I hope it’s easily and cheaply fixable.
I also hope you’ll get all the results for the doctor’s appointment tomorrow – sending good thoughts.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

  4. Sam@WLABB

I hope you get the test results soon, and that it is only good news. Wow! The Outsiders. I read that eons ago. How nice of your son’s girlfriend to get that for you.

  5. Tanya @ Girl Plus Books

I swear, It’s like the universe laughing when it comes to warranties. Ugh. Hope the repairs aren’t too major. I’ll be interested to see what you think of Moonlight Sins! So sweet of your son’s girlfriend to gift you a book. 🙂

  6. Anne Clarence

Literally the only tv show I watch is Stranger Things, nothing else. I think one thing that contributed to me being like this is because I don’t’ have Netflix XD.

    Have a great week!

  7. Samantha

Hope your daughter’s test results come back okay! And that sucks about the car. Car trouble is the worst (but I married a mechanic so I don’t struggle like most people do when I have car trouble!). Enjoy your week and your new books!

  8. Laurel-Rain Snow

I’ve been hearing good things about The Other Woman…and I’m curious about The Perfect Family.

I’m sending positive thoughts on the test results!

Car troubles always add to the angst in our lives…sigh.

Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.

  9. Yvonne

Good luck with the test results. Car troubles are the worst. Your new books look so good. Have a great week!

  10. Kristen @ Metaphors and Moonlight

Hope the test results come back good! Ugh, that’s always how it seems to happen. As soon as the warranty on something runs out, that’s when it has a problem. I feel like companies must plan that -_- At least you’ve had a good reading/blogging week!

  11. Olivia

Why do things always break when the warranty runs out? Also, I hope the doctor’s feedback is positive!

  12. sjhigbee

It’s always really hard waiting for results – I hope they come through tomorrow. As for the car… isn’t that always bleeping typical?? Hopefully it isn’t too expensive and this is a better week for you, Jenea.

  13. Natalie @Natflix&Books

Aw, what a sweet gift from your son’s gf! Fingers crossed it isn’t something too expensive on your car. We had to break down and get a new one a couple of months ago after we started needing to sink money in the old one every few months. Happy reading!

  14. Katherine @ I Wish I Lived in a Library

I’ve only had one thing break under warranty. Usually it waits until a few days after the warranty is expired. I don’t know how they know but they do! Hope the test results come back soon and they results are what you want them to be. Have a great week!

  15. Jen Ryland

Sending good wishes for your daughter. And yes, every time one of my appliances stops working, I check the warranty and it has always run out a few months prior. So aggravating!

  16. Tressa @ Wishful Endings

I can relate to the tests… I will be having blood drawn this week and then waiting for results. So not fun. You have some lovely new books! I hope you enjoy them. Thanks for stopping by!

I feel your pain with car trouble, and wish there was a magic tool that worked on every car to fix any problem. That would save us all a heck a lot of time and money. (lol) I definitely have been staying away from Amazon, and going to the library instead. Either way, the TBR pile just keeps growing and growing. (lol) Hugs and Happy Tuesday!
