Sunday Post #48 Great news!

Posted by Jenea @ Jenea's Book Obsession in Sunday Post / 44 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

This turned out to be a fairly good week. We got the test results for our daughter, no heart issues!!! YAY! She had a horrible viral infection, pleurisy. And was put on a pretty hefty anitbiotic. Because her father and I both have heart issues they had to rule that first. Ugh. She is feeling better with the antibiotic and rest now. Whew… Our son is coming and going out with friends and his girlfriend. I did have my echo-cardiogram this week, so hopefully those results will come back soon and that will be one less worry too.

Blogwise, it was a busy week, lots of comments which makes me smile and I got a couple of new goodies too. But with being so busy, I didn’t get anything else. No kindle books, I will have to remedy that this week. lol.. That’s about it for me.

How was your week?

Yay for good test results! And good luck with your results as well, hope the echo results are all good!

Good blog weeks are fun too. 🙂 Hope you have a super weekend!

Congratulation on your daughter! I’m so glad she is okay. How old is your son again? I remember he was in middle school or something? My week was okay, literally the definition of uneventful haha. But it was definitely a very haul-friendly week when it comes to ARCs. I went on a full ARC-request-overdrive mode haha.

Oh I can imagine that you are dancing on air! Shame – no wonder your daughter is feeling so ill… I contracted pleurisy the first year I was teaching and felt incredibly ill. The pain was horrible, until the antibiotics got to work – thank goodness for those little pills! I hope you all feel MUCH better very soon!

I’m so glad to hear you got good news about your daughter’s health! That must be such a relief! I hope that you’ll get good news on your test too.

Have a wonderful week and enjoy all of your new reads. Her Mother’s Grave and A Necessary Murder both sound really good.

I also had a week full of medical appts for my daughter and we changed up one of her treatments on Thursday. It will be awhile before we know if it works. So glad to hear your daughter is fine. Other than that I think it should be all reading all the time in this near 100 heat. We may get a break this week. Anne – Books of My Heart

    Good news about your daughter.
Always fun to get those comments.
Nice stack for this week. I look forward to your thoughts on the historical mystery.

    Have a great week, Jenea!

That is great news! Waiting for test results for one of your kids is so hard so I know that is a relief. I am really curious about the upcoming Jude Deveraux book since I have really liked her writing in the past. Have a great week!

What a blessing about the normal results! I know that had to be a load of your minds. Love Jude Devereaux! Hugs…RO
