The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

This week seemed to fly by! And it’s already July too! Crazy, right!?!? Our weather sure feels like it’s July too, we’ve been in the upper 80’s and reached 90 yesterday. But, it was a pretty good week overall. Our sons therapy is going well and our daughter is feeling a lot better too. I went to the psychiatrist this week, and they had to change some of medicine. This has been a learning experience trying to get the meds right. They did tell me that when they change meds it will takes a little bit of time to tweak the meds. Ugh.

I spent most of my week running up and down the road to appts, so I got behind on commenting back to evryone. I think I’m all caught up now. Right now I am reading The Summer Wives and it will really good so far. I’ll finish it tonight. And I did get a couple of new goodies. Two of them are Christmas books too! Yay!!! Love me some Christmas. Well, that’s it for me. 😊

How was your week?

It is so hot here. We got up and walked the dogs at 7:30 this morning and the air was already sticky. July may be a long month. I will be spending this week running to appointments so I understand. I hope you have a great week and enjoy all of your new books!

  2. Angela

Ugh, it will be almost 100 here this weekend! We’re not going out much, haha! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on The Summer Wives!

  3. Mary Kirkland

Over 100 here all week. July is our hottest month so I’m sure we’ll be seeing temps around 117 on quite a few days. I just try to stay inside until the sun goes down.

Changing meds or getting the right dosage always seems to take time. Nothing to do but be patient.

  4. Greg

It’s been hot here too, ugh. Although just came back from vacation and thankfully it wasn’t bad there. Just at home when we got back. 🙂

Bring Me Back looks good, I liked the BA Paris book I read. and of course Girls Night Out I need to get.

  5. Suzanne @ The Bookish Libra

I’ve enjoyed the temps here too. Hot but not too hot that I can’t sit on the deck and read, so that’s perfect for me.

I hope they’re able to get your new med dosages right without too much tweaking. That’s never fun.

Looks like you got a lot of great new books this week. I hope you enjoy them and look forward to reading your review for The Summer Wives.

  6. Sam@WLABB

Oh! I need to get a little stock pile of Christmas books. I want to do that HO-HO-HO read-a-thon this year. Good luck with the meds. I hope it doesn’t take too long to find the right dose/mix for you.

  7. Laurel-Rain Snow

You have some great-looking books! I like the look of How To Keep a Secret. Thanks for sharing, and enjoy the new week.

    Thanks for visiting my blog.

Its so hot here too. I’m so jealous you got Hard Sell!! I loved Hot Asset and can’t wait to continue the series!

  9. bookworm

Enjoy The Summer Wives, it’s the perfect time of year for that. The Lauren Layne cover is eye catching, happy reading!
Have a great week and thanks for visiting my blog!

  10. Kristen @ Metaphors and Moonlight

It has definitely been hot! Good luck with the new meds. Hopefully it won’t be too bad while they figure out the right doses and whatnot. Christmas books already?! I guess you’re celebrating Christmas in July? 😉

  11. Aj @ Read All The Things!

I’m in the process of changing my meds, too. I’m exhausted! And my brain feels fuzzy. I don’t know. It’s weird and difficult. A Christmas book would be good right now. It’s really hot. I hope you have a good July and enjoy your new books!

  12. Annemieke

The tweaking of meds is always such a thing. I hope you’ll get used to them soon again. I”m glad to hear that your children are feeling better. <3

It’s hot here too, which is a bit of a shocker – we are more accustomed to drizzle. I’m delighted to hear your son and daughter are both doing better – as for the tweaking of meds… hm – not much fun:(. I hope the week proves not to be too frustrating, Jenea.

  14. Nicci @ Sunny Buzzy Books

Flippin’ heck, Christmas books in July… But I guess we’re now on that downward slide towards Christmas! I do love Christmas… But it’s so hard to think about reading a snowy festive book when we’re literally cooking at the moment for it’s so hot! lol

  15. Literary Feline

It doesn’t seem possible it is July already. I am glad your kids are doing well. I am glad you are enjoying Summer Wives. I am looking forward to reading that one as well. I am eager to read Season of Wonder. I love RaeAnne Thayne’s novels. I hope you have a great weekend, and week ahead, Jenea!
