The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

Another uneventful week for here. We enjoyed out staycation this past week, We all relaxed and enjoyed the time together. My hubs goes back to work on Monday, I’m gonna miss having him home and we are back to the hussle and bussle that is our normals weeks. We have three different Dr. appts this week, ugh. But I do however have an interview with the State Prison this week, so we’ll see how that goes, hopefully it won’t take too long to see if I got the job or not after the interview. My daughter is exited about school starting soon, she has her schedule all planned out of what subject she will do on what day of the week. Hopefully this week our son will get some driving time in. He really needs to learn how to drive soon. lol.. He is quite the busy bee up and down the road with his girlfriend and friends.

The weather here has been really nice. The temps are starting to drop and this morning we had a low of 57 too! I am certainly a fan of the cooler weather. My family not so much. 😉

I got some pretty good reading done this week and no more issues with the blog or the hosting. Whew… I did get some pretty amazing new additions to go on my ever growing TBR pile. I already read and finished two of them. Yay me!!!

That’s it for me, how was everyone’s week? Got any new goodies?

Good luck with the interview! I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. It’s nice your daughter is excited about school. It makes it easier for you. I am super jealous of everyone talking about cool temperatures. It’s been terrible here. So hot and humid and rainy. Countdown to fall starts now.

Good luck on the job interview, hope you get the job. Teaching a teen to drive is fun. *sarcasm* lol I didn’t learn to drive or get my license until I was 24 years old. Hubby taught me how to drive. My brother tried to teach me on his stick shift truck and that just wasn’t happening.

  3. Mary @StackingMyBookShelves!

Looks like some great books. I would like to read Kill the Queen. Glad you got two of them read already. Sorry the staycation is over already. God, it does go by quick. Final week for me so lots of comments coming your way over next week. Busy here. I like the hotter weather and feel like we haven’t gotten much of it. I hope August is HOT, HOT. Have a great week and keep your fingers crossed for me!

Oh I have the Jamie Maguire book as well and can’t wait! I’m so jealous it got down to 57 where you are! I can’t wait for colder weather.

I’m liking the cooldown too, it’s been 70’s and 80’s and cooler at night, I’ll take it! Glad you had a great week! I kinda like staycations, that can be so relaxing not having to run around!

    Good luck with your interview!

    Thanks for visiting my blog.

A state prison job, that would be so interesting and somewhat scary. Good luck and hope you get the job.

Thanks for letting me know what you think with Blogger and WP.

Glad your staycation was fun. Crossing my fingers for your job interview success. LOL about the driving.

Have a great week with those lovely new reads, Jenea!

I’m glad the staycation went well – it’s always a wrench to return to the daily grind though… Best of luck with the job interview for the prison job. Yes – there comes a time when the taxi of Mum and Dad needs to find different customers! I like the look of Kill the Queen and in the meantime, have a great reading week:))

I love a good staycation. Good luck on the job interview. Hope they don’t keep you waiting too long for an answer. I’ve had a bunch of appointments lately myself. Two physical therapy appts. This week, two next week, an ultrasound, blah blah blah. So ready to be done. So jealous of your cooler temps!

Please send that 57 degree weather here to NC!(lol) We’re roasting here. Keeping my fingers crossed on the job, and hope they notify you quickly. Yay! The hosting problems are resolved! I know that took a huge load off your mind. Hugs and Happy Tuesday! RO
