Now That You Mention It is my first book from Higgins, and I was so happy with this one. From the characters to the setting, it kept me wanting to know how much more this poor woman could take. It centers around Nora, she’s on a good career path, she gastroenterologist at a great hospital and she has this an amazing boyfriend. What more could she ask for? Here is where “life” decides to take a much different turn for her. Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

 

 

 

 

I am so thankful for husband and my children, and happy to be able spend the day together, eating more than we probably should. And I finally get pumpkin pie!!! We be getting ready to put our Christmas tree together too, but staying away from all the Black Friday sales. lol.. Our local Christmas Parade is Saturday, and our son will participating with ROTC again this year, and my husband is off, so he is excited to be able to see him and not just in pictures. πŸ™‚

When I picked this book, I was thinking that it would be a Christmas themed book, but it turned out to much more and in a good way. Yes, it was about Christmas, but more about family and the history they carry with them from generation to generation, the good and the bad.
