Review for The Visitors by Catherine Burns

Review for The Visitors by Catherine Burns

The Visitors is a story of two siblings that are now adults that still live together in the family home. Marion has always came and went as she pleased and left her brother Johns to his secret excursions in the cellar. That is until she has to do into the cellar and discovers just what he has been doing down there all these years, which was quite frightening. My review will be a little vague, it’s just so hard not to give to much away, so have to say I’m sorry in advance.

Marion was verbally abused growing up, never feeling wanted, never believing that she worth anything. Even as an adult, she is still this way. She spends most …

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted here, at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by the fabulous Jill at Breaking the Spine. If you’re continuing with WOW, feel free to link those up as well!

This caught my attention when it mentioned twin who are con artists, add in some murder and romance and I was even more intrigued. The wait is a little long but I think it will certainly be worth it.

When the courthouse fire happened killing the boy inside the town was turned upside down, but something even more sinister is taking place. Porcelain dolls have been showing up the towns doorsteps that have little girls. These dolls look just like those girls. This is where Rose Blakely comes in, a journalist who pieces the clues together and prints them. Making all the suspicion and rumor with in this small town spread even worse.
