Time moves differently there, for a year inside Glass Town, is one hundred years out in the world around it. This feud between brothers has carried on from generation to generation. At eleven he was my first crush. At sixteen he became mine. At nineteen he broke my heart and destroyed me. That was ten years ago and the last time I saw Cole Ryan.

They say you never get over your first love…I beg to differ. I left my shattered heart buried in a town I never expected to return to. I erased every thought of him and buried the memories never to be found.

I moved on…now ten years later …

Review for The November Girl by Lydia Kang

Review for The November Girl by Lydia Kang

The November Girl is one those books that while your reading it, you’re enthralled. So many things are going on, so many questions about the characters that you want answers for, that you kept reading and before you know it you are at the last page. But after I was done, I wasn’t sure at fist how I felt about it, but the more I thought about and when I sat down to write this review, I realized just how much I really did enjoy it.

Can’t Wait Wednesday #14 The Queens of Innis Lear by Tessa Gratton

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted here, at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by the fabulous Jill at Breaking the Spine. If you’re continuing with WOW, feel free to link those up as well!

When I came across this, it sounded familiar so I decided to go searching. It is a retelling of Shakespeare’s King Lear, so, there is no doubt in my mind that I am going to have to get my hands on this one! I am so excited for it, the wait until …

Review for Before She Ignites (Fallen Isles Trilogy #1) by Jodi Meadows

Review for Before She Ignites (Fallen Isles Trilogy #1) by Jodi Meadows

Before She Ignites is the first book in a new series. It centers around Mira, a young girl who has always loved dragons, and when she learns that they are being smuggled off the island, she confronts those responsible. On;y she is thrown in the pit. An awful place where the council only sends the worst of the worst. She has been betrayed. Before She Ignites will open your mind to a beautiful world filled with gorgeous islands, magic but a place where politics and betrayals overshadow the beauty.

Mira isn’t a perfect girl, she has her flaws. She suffers from anxiety attacks, she has OCD, meaning she counts, everything. I felt for and understand her pain. It is something …
