I am please to be able to share the cover for upcoming novella Right Gift. Wrong Day. It’s a companion book for Right Text. Wrong Number, the first book in the Offsides series, a young adult contemporary romance. I just adore the cover on this one and the first one as well. The second book in the series will out sometime next year, so we’ll have to keep an eye out for it.

What do you think of the cover and the book?

Can’t Wait Wednesday #13 Sinless (Eye of the Beholder #1) by Sarah Tarkoff

Can’t Wait Wednesday #13 Sinless (Eye of the Beholder #1) by Sarah Tarkoff

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted here, at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by the fabulous Jill at Breaking the Spine. If you’re continuing with WOW, feel free to link those up as well!

I came across this a little while back and the cover really caught my attention, and after reading the blurb I was hooked! It would be a great read for this time of year too, too bad the wait is kinda long.

Review for The Midnight Dance by Nikki Katz

Review for The Midnight Dance by Nikki Katz

The Midnight Dance was one of my anticipated reads for the year, and I have always had a soft spot for ballet, so of course I had to get my hands on it. So, I was so excited to get a chance to read it so soon. I will warn that there isn’t as much ballet as I would have hoped but in its place was a thrilling ride of twist and turns and I wasn’t disappointed at all.

The story centers around Penny who has been attending the Grande Teatro, where she is one of twelve ballerinas. This is the only place that Penny has ever know, but her memories start changing, and they don’t make sense. She sets out …

Review for Speak Easy, Speak Love by McKelle George

Review for Speak Easy, Speak Love by McKelle George

I had a 5th grade teacher who loved Shakespeare so we read a lot of his work, and this being a retelling of Much Ado About Nothing made me so curious about it and the era of time is one of my favorites. So, Speak Easy, Speak Love was a fantastic and fun read for me.

Beatrice has been sent to live with her Uncle who happens to run a speakeasy in the basement of his home, which she did not know about till she got there. Since the speakeasy isn’t doing so good, her new found friend Hero and cousin has the idea to throw a big party to see if they would be able to save it. So much …

Since we are coming up on September and Halloween candy is being put out already, so I figured it time to start looking for some scary reads. I read the blurb to my daughter who says to me, ” wow Momma that sounds your kinda read…” She knows me so well. lol.. …

Review for Madness by Zac Brewer

Review for Madness by Zac Brewer

This is my first book from Brewer and I knew what I was getting myself in when I read the blurb, but the pure bluntness of the main characters thoughts made my heart hurt. But it was so good, now on to the story itself.

Brooke has just come home from a stay at a mental rehabilitation facility. She is pretending that everything is great, which is a lie. She’s is lying to her parents, and ever her long time best friend. Brooke is not okay, she is planning on taking her life when no one expects her too. Brooke does return to school and meets a new student, who happens to be a guy who also has tried to take …

Review for Before She Ignites (Fallen Isles Trilogy #1) by Jodi Meadows

Review for Before She Ignites (Fallen Isles Trilogy #1) by Jodi Meadows

Before She Ignites is the first book in a new series. It centers around Mira, a young girl who has always loved dragons, and when she learns that they are being smuggled off the island, she confronts those responsible. On;y she is thrown in the pit. An awful place where the council only sends the worst of the worst. She has been betrayed. Before She Ignites will open your mind to a beautiful world filled with gorgeous islands, magic but a place where politics and betrayals overshadow the beauty.

Mira isn’t a perfect girl, she has her flaws. She suffers from anxiety attacks, she has OCD, meaning she counts, everything. I felt for and understand her pain. It is something …
