Review for Little Secrets by Anna Snoekstra

Review for Little Secrets by Anna Snoekstra

Little Secrets is a story that will definitely make you think. Creepy doesn’t even describe the things that go on on this place, but it sure makes for a really good read.

Colmstock, a small town in Australia where everyone pretty much know everyone. When the courthouse fire happened killing the boy inside the town was turned upside down, but something even more sinister is taking place. Porcelain dolls have been showing up the towns doorsteps that have little girls. These dolls look just like those girls. This is where Rose Blakely comes in, a journalist who pieces the clues together and prints them. Making all the suspicion and rumor with in this small town spread even worse.

Rose is one ambitious …

Review for Magnolia Nights by Ashley Farley

Review for Magnolia Nights by Ashley Farley

Magnolia Nights is a wonderful story that takes us through three generations of women set in beautiful southern town, with large antebellum homes and a mystery to uncover all wrapped up together, and Farley’s writing pulled me in the start. After the few chapters, I knew this was going to be one of those books I couldn’t put down.

Ellie has recently inherited her Grandmother’s rather large estate in Charleston. She hasn’t seen nor heard a single word from this women since she was a child, so it was all really stranger to her. Now, Ellie doesn’t remember much from her childhood before she went to live with her father, and some of what she does remember though is filled …

Review for The Midnight Dance by Nikki Katz

Review for The Midnight Dance by Nikki Katz

The Midnight Dance was one of my anticipated reads for the year, and I have always had a soft spot for ballet, so of course I had to get my hands on it. So, I was so excited to get a chance to read it so soon. I will warn that there isn’t as much ballet as I would have hoped but in its place was a thrilling ride of twist and turns and I wasn’t disappointed at all.

The story centers around Penny who has been attending the Grande Teatro, where she is one of twelve ballerinas. This is the only place that Penny has ever know, but her memories start changing, and they don’t make sense. She sets out …

Review for The Silent Fountain by Victoria Fox

Review for The Silent Fountain by Victoria Fox

The Silent Fountain is a gothic and historical romance with a little bit of suspense mixed too. This house has some sinister things going on it. What more could I ask for?

Fox takes us back and forth between Vivien Lockhardt in the 70’s and Lucy Whittaker in the present, and it done so with such grace that it flows right into each other. Never confusing, just completely enthralling and with a pace that kept me turning the pages to see what was going to happen. Vivien is one those characters who you love, but then you want to hate all at the same time. In the end, I found Vivien to be a wonderful woman, and felt her story deep …
